GYTBE Raffle bear

Here is my latest bear. His name is Ruffles.

I am going to be donating him to the raffle in aid of Sheffield Childrens Hospital at The Great Yorkshire Teddy Bear Event on 18th November.

New sewing machine

I have just had my old trusty Singer sewing machine serviced. It is still good, but as it is around 50 years old I have decided that it needed replacing.

So, on Saturday I decided to treat myself to a new Pfaff Select 3 sewing machine. It's great! I love the dual feed!

Here it is

New bear - Cora

Cora is approximately 10” tall. She has bent legs and is designed to sit.

She is made from cream Schulte mohair and has brown cashmere paw pads.

Cora is fully jointed, with nuts and bolts and a wobble neck joint. She is filled with heavy-weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in her tummy for extra weight.

Cora has black glass eyes and a perle cotton embroidered nose. Her face has been lightly hand shaded, and has been lightly needle sculpted to give a little more shape to the muzzle.

Cora is wearing a little gold flower in her hair and a bell around her neck.

As with all of my bears, Cora is one of a kind.

New bear - Humbug

Allow me to introduce Humbug.

Humbug is approximately 14.5” tall. He has bent legs and is designed to sit.

He is made from black and white Schulte mohair and has matching cashmere paw pads.

Humbug has black glass eyes. His eye patches have been needle-felted.

He is five way jointed. He is filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in his tummy for extra weight.

Humbug has a needle-felted nose and mouth.

His face has also been lightly needle sculpted to give a little more shape to his muzzle.

New bear - Luna

Please allow me to introduce Luna. 

Luna is approximately 12" tall when standing.

She is made from very soft faux fur and she has ultrasuede paw pads, which match her fur beautifully.

Luna is five way jointed, with a wobble neck joint. She is filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in her tummy for extra weight.

She has black glass eyes and has a large needle felted nose. Her face has been extensively scissor sculpted and lightly hand shaded.

Luna also has a white organza flower in her hair.

Luna has now been adopted.

New Bear - Erebus

Erebus is approximately 11" tall when standing.

He is made from very soft faux fur and he has cashmere paw pads, which compliment his fur beautifully.

Erebus is five way jointed and is filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in his tummy for extra weight.

He has black glass eyes with eye whites and has a large embroidered nose. His face has been extensively scissor sculpted and lightly hand shaded.

Erebus is one of a kind.

He will be available from Stonegate Teddy Bears from Sunday 25th March 2012.

New bear - Finley

Finley is approximately 15" tall when standing.

He is made from very soft faux fur and he has cashmere paw pads, which compliments his fur beautifully.

Finley is five way jointed, filled with heavy weight polyester fibre and has some stainless steel balls in his tummy for extra weight.

He has black glass eyes and a large embroidered nose. His face has been extensively scissor sculpted and hand shaded.

Finley also has a growler and embroidered toes.

Finley is one of a kind.

He will be available from Stonegate Teddy Bears on Sunday 25th March 2012.
